I grew up in Indiana, the daughter of a professional horse trainer. We crossed the United States showing in AQHA and other shows. I was fortunate to learn from some of the greatest in the industry. Jim Garner was the first trainer to explain to my parents I was ready to ‘go for it’. Through working with trainers such as Brad and Valerie Kearns, Jason and Jessica Gilliam, Tommy Sheets and Geno Spagnola I was able to reach goals I had set for myself at a very early age.Through my AQHA Youth Career I was able to achieve such milestones as: AQHA Youth Championship, 3 time Res Congress champion and multiple top tens, AQHYA World show Res Champion and multiple top tens, as well as AQHYA Honor Roll Champion youth equitation and top tens in several other events. With those successes I was given the opportunity, and scholarship, to compete on the Oklahoma State University Equestrian Team. By my senior year, I was humbly honored to ride the schools equine mascot, Bullet!’ -Margaux
